I have been a busy bee this month with editorials. This shoot was titled Hot in the City. Shot by formly Melbourne photographer Mikael Wardhana,we spent a day trolloping around Sydney. Starting in a warehouse in Surry Hills to the Opera House, a beautiful church in the middle of the city and ending on the Harbour bridge. Mikeal gave it a beautiful cinematic feel. I was so happy with the end result. From a stylist point of view i wanted lots of textures and layers. I had shot a beautiful piece from Jayson Brunsdon NYC collection months before which never had been published so i requested it again, as you can see it's soooooo amazing (last shot).
I had asked a friend Donny Galella if he had any amazing hats and luckily for me he had 2 great pieces, one being the mohawk hat (picture 2) and then a crazy ass 3 pill box layer hat, teamed up with a gorgeous Rachel Gilbert gown, the picture look sublime (picture 5)
